Free to choose Swahili, some used their mother tongue all day.

The Scripture Use team trained over 40 leaders in the Kabwa church community to use MegaVoice solar-powered audio Bibles in their ministry. During the workshop, participants listened to 1 & 2 Thessalonians and then led group discussions.

The option was given to lead discussion in Swahili or Kabwa depending on the makeup of the group (not all church leaders in the area are Kabwa speakers). One group of church leaders excitedly listened and discussed the passages in Kabwa during all of the practice sessions.

It was exciting to see a group of church leaders enthusiastically using their local language to engage Scripture! Pray that this enthusiasm continues as they carry out their work in their churches!
